It was a good week! Somehow it feels like it flew by, maybe because I did different things every day. 🤔

🎮 Gaming 🎮

I finally finished Divinity: Original Sin! 🎉🎉🎉

89 hours, and it's finally The End!
89 hours, and it's finally The End!

For some reason, I did not get 2 story achievements on Steam despite having made those story choices. 🤔 But that's alright because I'm well aware that I had missed a lot of optional quests anyway, so I was far from a completionist run. Due to accidentally progressing the story several times by bypassing combat, I was short of a lot of experience points. In the last arc I was usually 1 to 2 levels lower than the entities I had to defeat, making some fights extremely difficult. But hey, I still survived without relying on save scumming! But by the finale I was still 1 level short, and went into the final fights under-leveled, and consequently under-geared. I didn't even re-spec. my characters before locking myself into the finale because I was overeager to finish the game. 🙃

But alas, all hail Crowd Control! ✨ Thank you Baldur's Gate 3 for helping me discover, lean into and hone my "gaming specialty", and CHATTERTEETH for training me well. 🙄🙄🙄 (Love you hate you, skeleton.)

So, I have finally finished a game that I found too difficult from my younger days! Yay! Oh how I have grown...? 🤔🤔🤔 What's next, Dragon Age: Origins?! (Oh Morrigan... 💔) I don't foresee myself replaying Divinity: Original Sin, but I'm glad that I finally finished it so that I have lore context for when I play the next Divinity?! :D Early access is likely to be next year, with final release expected to be 2029. Looking forward to it!

Speaking of things to look forward to, I got my hands on the latest Spirit City: Lofi Sessions DLC, Magical Library, and completed my DLC collection with Enchanted Garden! 💜

I love the vibes so much. 💜 The spirit companions are so fun to read about too. Also, I finally changed my outfit. 🤣

After making the purchase, I realized that my copy of Spirit City with all the DLCs is now almost as expensive as some of the action games/ RPGs on my Steam library. It seems like a lot for a program I don't get to actively engage with, but it has brought me so much comfort, similar to how the many prints around the house have. I'm sure there will come a day when I return to using Spirit City's productivity tools regularly, but for now I'm satisfied feeling like I'm in a safe space to recharge. Strange what visuals and sounds can do for one's state of mind.

The Medieval Lofi playlist is now my go-to. 💜 The irony, since I usually don't enjoy medieval RPGs! Maybe the "medieval" instruments bring my mind to a time of hope and creation that lives only in fantasy, while most medieval-themed RPGs focus on the struggles of growing social divide and oppression. 🤔 And masculine chivalry. 🤔

But that said, I watched the gameplay trailer for Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons and I can't wait to play it... and get trashed! :D It looks fun! (More medieval fantasy. Haha!)

As for the rest of the evenings, I was either watching my partner finish Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, driving around (and dozing off) in Forza Horizon 6, or playing Split Fiction with my partner! ✨

I'm kind of itching for a deeper story though! But maybe I should channel that desire into my video production work this week. 🤣🤣🤣

🌙 Working 🌙

Recorded vocals! Was fun! But figuring out harmonies were not fun, so Yuraia was the MVP for figuring it out as I fell asleep in the recording booth. Haha!

This coming weekend I'll record the vocals for the last cover that I plan to put out in 2026. I think it's going to be another fun recording session because I love the song so much. 💜 It won't be the last recording session of the year, but I'll take my time with the rest of the projects and delay all publishing on my channel to next year. 🎵

🐰 Living 🐰

I attended a church mass for the first time in a long time for my partner's parent's 50th wedding anniversary. I appreciated the opportunity to refresh my faith: To be away from the church, to stand with those who do not have or need its shelter.

To witness. To share in their pain. To hurt so that I can learn to heal anywhere, anytime. To strive to have even a fraction of His supernatural strength as a mortal. I had to hold back from tearing up when singing hymns and saying prayers. But the rolling boil of emotions and heartache only strengthened my conviction that I was doing the right thing.

Because what is life if not suffering?

Or rather, what would my life be without it?

~💜~

Hopes for this week

♪ Finish animating an MV!

♪ Practice and record vocals!

☆ Cut back on carbs and sugars... I need to shed some weight. :(

☆ Play Forza - I need to fix the tuning of my Acura NSX, but have been too tired to 🥹

☆ Play Split Fiction with my partner

☆ Play BG3? I kinda want to finish the Gale of Waterdeep run...

(Should I try a Wyll run? Will I gain an appreciation (or dislike) for the character like I did with Gale and Karlach?!)

Thank you for reading! 🌙🐰

I don't have any particular dysphoria, but...

🌙 I just hope that those with strong opinions will never see this. 🌙 There are some things I've always felt like I didn't have the right to say. I was always someone's daughter, someone's girl-frien
