Contrails: Jul '26, Week 5
Whoa! I ended up writing this week's post in reverse order, so this first paragraph is actually a concluding statement. 🤔 Also, I've been so focused on managing recent events and plans that I haven't planned my week, so I'd like to get to that as soon as I'm done reviewing the past week!

Finished editing my vocals for the next cover, and made the lyric video, thumbnail and closed captions! ✨ Now all that's left is to put the mix in, decide if I want to do more animations, export the final MV, make a clip for SNS, and publish! It's hard to believe that it has been over 3 months since my last upload on YouTube... 🙃
This week I had been chatting with Nagi and Yuraia a lot more about making covers. It feels good to feel a part of a team. 🥹
🎮 Gaming 🎮
Played Granblue Fantasy Relink with a friend while he was on stream (on Twitch). Since said friend was still progressing through the game, I took the opportunity to play a character I used to play when I first picked up the game, but was too difficult for me because I was not familiar with the game yet: Rosetta! (Or "female Siegfried", as I lovingly call her now) We later found out that some random person who doesn't even follow my friend regularly had rushed to join the lobby. The rando probably saw a stream of a game he liked to stream snipe or something and was camping for the lobby ID and password... because he joined the split second that the lobby was created, right after confirming the password for the lobby... 🙃 Awkward...
Played a decent amount of Divinity: Original Sin! I made lots of progress through the campaign because I kept stumbling into the fastest way to progress, skipping and getting locked out of a lot of quests and fights. 🙃 But because of that I got really fatigued from identifying and reviewing equipment loot. 💀 Thank goodness I don't foresee anymore major fights for a while... I THINK? 🙃
Tried the rhythm game aspect of hololive Dreams since my partner has been playing the game since release. Didn't enjoy the experience - UI and graphics optimization was clearly designed for higher-end tablets and was missing important customization options to cater to different playing preferences (judgment position relative to the bottom of the device, lane and note width, opacity and contrast, etc.). I'll refrain from being overly critical of it as a rhythm game because I know a lot of people are into the game, so it's just not for me. I'll stick to YouTube and Spotify to enjoy hololive's music, thanks.
It's Winter in Forza Horizon 6! Tuned some of my cars, finished the Raku Raku job progression, and raced a little with my partner for this week's Festival Playlist. 💖
Logged in to FFXIV for a little to do my outstanding Allied Society quests and do 1 leveling roulette for my Gunbreaker. Felt hopeful about the upcoming changes in Evercold all week. 🥹💜

I should've taken an OOTD photo when I went out to meet friends on Friday. 🥺 But I got to wear my heels, thigh high stockings, miniskirt, a high pony held by my favorite Slytherin hair-tie, my favorite bracelet with my nickname from high school engraved on it, and was clad in black. I felt like that girl even without makeup on. 💜
I think my favorite look is still a t-shirt tucked into a miniskirt and stockings. 💜 But miniskirts seem out of fashion now? 🤔 I don't see younger folks wearing it.
Though, the stockings couldn't save me from getting 7 mosquito bites. Curse you, O-type blood!!!

☆ Get an updated recovery plan for my skin condition from the dermatologist, because like before it seems to be returning a week after stopping treatment...

☆ Play Forza 🤔 I'm starting to feel like there isn't much more for me to do other than to return to do the weekly challenges.
