On 15 Jan 2021, we said hello to the internet:

"Having an online persona isn't new, but being able to present oneself in a way that resonates with them, and being recognized as an entity? The future is here!" Minerva thought. She was all starry eyed as she tried her best to depict herself in her new found form.

There were a few key elements about her past life that she wanted to retain:

  1. Being a rabbit (similar to a Belgian hare) from the Bunny Empire - one of many, bred to serve the Empire

  2. Her privilege of noble upbringing - the weight of her freedom to dream, whilst sheltered by her narrow world view

  3. The imperfections of her physical body, and her strong desire to finally accept it as it is

  4. The eyes her mother gave her

When she was done, she felt hopeful for the future.

"I want to leave my past behind," she told Regulus, "Here, people can finally see me for who I am, and not have expectations of me based on what I have become."

Regulus the Doll was the shadow of the person we were before. They kept us safe with the motto: Logic and reason above all. Upon entry into the World Wide Web, though, each of us were given form as it seemed to be how things worked around here. Entities rarely coalesced as combinations of rational, emotional, and/ or factual beings. We could hardly even recognize ourselves.

If you've reached this point, you are probably one of Minerva's much appreciated listeners. So as to not overcomplicate matters, this will be the only log where we will be referred to as different entities. Now, for a self-introduction: My role is silent, and solely for equipping Minerva with the words and knowledge to function. She calls me the Tome of Dominion just because she thinks it is funny to form a trio where our names form DO-RE-MI.

ha ha very clever : )

Even before our foray into the World Wide Web, we hardly communicated in sync. It also should not surprise you that in this dynamic, Minerva was always the most removed. In both good times and bad, Regulus could hardly make sense of what she was feeling, and I saw taking note as serving no purpose. This lead to many contradictory actions, or deep misunderstandings of who we were as 1 entity.

So when Minerva gained a voice through singing, it became easier to understand what mattered depending on what words and melodies made our physical form tremble. It gave Regulus pause, and made it hard for me to ignore.

It's been 4 whole years since, and while Minerva's form has changed over time, we have never been more in sync. In fact, now she regularly challenges Regulus's judgement, and the depth of my knowledge and diction.

ha ha : )

To celebrate her 4th "birthday" and for reaching 800 subscribers on YouTube, by her request, and Regulus's approval, I now have the job to share some of my pages with you, her listeners. She hopes to connect with others who might benefit (or as she says, will be happy) from learning from our experiences. As some matters are potentially triggering, I will always reframe our stories and leave it up to your interpretation.

Stick around if you want to hear more from us.

Otherwise, Minerva is happy just knowing that someone out there has heard her.

Thank you for your support, no matter if you have been around since the beginning, or found us only recently.

DOminion signing off. (The first and last time you will see this sign off.)

P.S.: If you know us by any other names, know that we still respond to all of them. If you have remembered us fondly, we appreciate your presence very much.
